Dharma House Location

Nestled amongst fantatic landscapes surrounded by the Southern Alps, the Queenstown Dharma House is a place for study, practice of meditation and awakening. 3 minutes walk into Central Queenstown, it is ideal for visitors.

Our Vision

To establish and maintain a house dedicated to the study and practice of Dharma. A Dharma House, or Vihara (meaning ‘abode or place of Dharma') is a living community where one may investigate paths for positive transformation.

It is intended that the Dharma House be an example of Dharma-in-action. By this we mean that we seek to inspire and encourage the teachings of liberation through the conscious cultivation of skilful, friendly, mindful and compassionate actions of our body, speech and our mind.

Non sectarian in nature and faith, open to all walks of life.
